REDHILL AERODROME APPEAL INQUIRY - UPDATE

The appeal hearing was opened on 7th January 2014 the evidence took four days to be heard.

Extra days have been scheduled for Wednesday, 15th January for The Inspector to conduct a site visit and for Thursday, 16th January 2014 for closing speeches and to agree any conditions that may be applied if planning permission is approved.

The Thursday session will be held at Reigate Town Hall commencing at 10.00am. This is a public session. The public are advised to park vehicles in the nearby public car parks.

At time of writing there has been no indication of the time scale for the Inspectors decision. We will keep you advised of any information on this matter.

Powerful evidence against the proposal was given by Krag, Nutfield Parish Council, Salfords and Sidlow Parish Council and a number of individuals.

This evidence was supported by evidence from District Councillors, County Councillors, our local MP’s and our MEP.

We thank all the Krag supporters and members of the local community who attended and gave their support to those giving evidence. The turnout every day was magnificent. The Inspector can be in no doubt of the depth of objection to the proposal.

We will keep you informed of developments.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.
